We have once again successfully maneuvered our folded bicycle and trailer/suitcase through the Parisian train tunnels and staircases.  We have finally arrived at the Loire River in Orleans!  (In our original planning, we were only going to bicycle the Loire valley – then we later decided to add Amsterdam to Paris and Normandy.)

 

Orleans is the home of Joan of Arc, but the local museum is closed Mondays so we will not be able to see it, as we have decided to go on to Blois tomorrow and make that our base for a few days – cycling out to the area’s Castles and Wineries.
